Airport Information
At an elevation of 9,080 feet, the recently upgraded Telluride Regional Airport (TEX) is the second highest commercial airport in the world. Air service is provided by US Airways and Great Lakes Aviation, with direct and connecting departures and arrivals through Denver, CO, and Phoenix, AZ. Upon arrival, you can take a shuttle to Telluride or Mountain Town. Or, allow the property concierge to arrange transportation for you.
Three other airports put you within easy reach of Telluride. Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ) is a spectacular, 1.5-hour drive to Telluride, with service from several major carriers. Durango-La Plata County Airport (DRO), the major access point for the Four Corners Region, is 2.5 hours southwest from Telluride. Finally, the Grand Junction-Walker Field Airport (GJT), also a 2.5-hour drive from Telluride, offers access to tourism destinations and major ski areas throughout the region.
